MusicMafiaUK presents...Man Made

MusicMafiaUK presents...Man Made

As we head into the new year I'd love to introduce you to Man Made (aka nineteen year-old singer songwriter Nile Marr) who heads out as support to HOWLER this January on a full UK and European Tour.

As a virtuoso guitar player, Nile has already performed onstage with artists such as Broken Social Scene, Bright Eyes and The Lemonheads, as well as opening for Junip and Badly Drawn Boy, and performing at both Latitude Festival and the award-winning Tramlines Festival last year. The Observer Magazine hailed Nile as one of the country's top new musicians and he has also received coverage in The Telegraph, Guardian and The Independent.

Mad Made's debut EP is available on itunes now, and to stream on Soundcloud here;

Arctic Monkeys remix of 'Heaven's Below' by Wet Nuns

Following last week's announcement of the new Wet Nuns' single "Heaven's Below", out on November 11th, there is now have a remix of the track by Arctic Monkeys' Matt Helders to get your ears around;

The single 'Heavens Below' is a hollering, crushing, blues-riffing marvel of a tune that is typical of the Wet Nuns. The death-blues two-piece have been creating a storm on the live scene over the last 12 months and we'd love to see if you would be interested in featuring them and announcing the single and remix. Both the track and remix will only be available from the band's website, www.wetnuns.com, from November 11th.

We were so blown away by their last live show at London's Bull & Gate that we actually offered to PR the single for no more than a t-shirt and a beer (although we haven't been paid the beer yet). But it's because we rarely see something this exciting, and we want everyone else to know about it too!

I've attached the press release and band shot here. Please feel free to host the single and remix. The guys are also available for interviews, phoners, etc, so let us know if you would like to do something more in-depth and we'll hook it up.

Below is both a teaser video for the single, and also a recent live video that captures the atmosphere of Wet Nuns live.
