Hit road to Ibiza with Hard Rock Hell

The team behind Hard Rock Hell and Hammerfest are taking a rock festival on the road next year – and they’ll be taking over the island of Ibiza.

The HRH Road Trip is going to kick sand in the face of all those flopsy disco flouncers who think Bon Jovi are too heavy for them. From June 2-9 2010, the famous white beaches will be reverbating to the sound of metal – and 1000 partiers, their families and kids. What’s more, Rock Radio will be laying on some of the action.

We’ll be hosting one of the five event arenas, with Classic Rock, Metal Hammer, Classic Rock Prog and Scuzz TV laying on their own alongside. Booking has just begun for a plethora of acts across all rock genres, but names already signed up include Wolf, Grand Magus, Tyr, Battlelore and Attica Rage.

It’s not just full-on gigs either – other options will include sunset beach sets, DJs, a Marshall wall, a rock boat, pre-gig parties, water sports, karting, scuba diving, five-a-side and shopping trips.

Just 1000 tickets will be made available – HRH plan to make the event bigger and better in the future, but the first outing is set to be as exclusive as it can be.

Kids under 11 will go free while those aged 11-14 go half-price. HRH will be laying on babysitter and concierge services in block-booked rock hotels.

Promoter Jonni Davis says: “We’ll have our own hotels, bars and venues. We’re going to turn this into something people will remember as a true rock experience for the rest of their lives. You can call us insane – but HRH continuously breaks boundaries to create total rock experiences.”

A one-week ticket costs just £180 per person for early booking, including seven nights’ accommodation and entrance to all events including the boat trips (daytime events are optional extras). The promoters are even offering advice for with arranging flight schedules and if you’re coming by road, will arrange free parking for you.
