International hip hop / soul artist Chronic follows up the release of his mixtape 'The Pifftape' with his brand new single titled 'Kinda Gurl'.
Credited as a five star lyricist, Chronic is a man of few words and prefers his music to be his weapon of choice. He began his rapping career at the tender age of 4, having grown up in the City of Angels with strong African roots. Amongst his record collection, Chronic pinpoints his greatest musical influences as the likes of Bob Marley, Notorious B.I.G., Sade, Tupac, Fela Kuti and the Isley Brothers to name a few. And it must be his appreciation of good music which has fast-tracked him into receiving strong support and praise from the likes of Hip Hop Chronicle UK, Media Massacre, Urban Music Online, Pass the Mic UK, Hip-Hop Kings, Passion Radio’s Basement session, Ujima Radio in Bristol, Talk to City in the USA, Preston FM and BBC Gloucester-shire.
Chronic recently followed up this support with the release of his highly anticipated debut mixtape, which was hosted by DJ Mix Master G and featured the likes of Trina, Keri Hilson, Verses and Smugz. To date ‘The Pifftape’ has received over 7,200 downloads. Chronic has also been listed as the #66 Most Viewed Musician on YouTube in the United Kingdom (following the release of his debut video ‘Scales') and won the accolade of #53 Most Discussed Video in Ireland with the same project.In addition to that, Chronic's ‘Million Dollar Girl’ remix featuring Trina & Keri Hilson was #1 for four weeks on the Ujima Radio Urban Charts.

slice of eclectic, feel good music which is certain to be many club DJ's secret weapon this Autumn.
