MusicMafia introduces Japanese band Taffy

We wanted to introduce you to a band I'm working on from Japan called taffy. Their album Caramel Sunset was out earlier this year.

They are now releasing a new single 'Flower Chain' and coming to the UK on your. 
On September 3rd Tokyo sensation taffy continue to take the UK by storm, with the release of ‘Flower Chain’, on Club AC30. Plus, due to huge demand the band have announced a national headline tour.

Following widespread print and online praise for the debut album ‘Caramel Sunset’,
the amphetamine-esque, angular indie-disco-pogo of ‘Flower Chain’ looks set to propel taffy evermore skywards.

B-side ‘Theron’ captures vintage English indie melancholy, channelling the spirit of Ride and Slowdive, and setting the distortion to maximum.

‘Caramel Sunset’ won fans far and wide with its charming amalgamation of fuzztone bubblegum pop, shoegaze and psych, with just a dash of Britpop.  Taffy are Iris (vocal, rhythm guitar) Koichin (bass) Asano (lead guitar) and Ken (drums).
