Bear Makes Ninja

Bear Makes Ninja release E.P. Shouting at Bridges

There are a handful of bands out there who have the knack for combining ear pounding riffs with wickedly catchy vocal melodies, this three piece are one of them. Since their first release, If We Were Cats, Bear Makes Ninja have been working tirelessly on their material and sound whilst maintaining a hectic gigging/touring schedule. Their latest E.P comes in the form of a 7 track E.P called Shouting at Bridges.

Their 2nd E.P, Shouting at Bridges, is a refined, hugely dynamic roller coaster and compared to it's predecessor (If We Were Cats) it is a massive step forward by the energetic trio from Lincoln. The record was produced and recorded with a DIY ethos by Bear Makes Ninja, Dan Atkinson and Luke Pickering and making sense of their efforts were mix engineer Chris Common (Minus the Bear, Blakfish, These Arms are Snakes, and U&I) and mastering engineer TJ Lipple (Adebisi Shank, Marvins Revolt, Papier Tiger).

Shouting at Bridges is set for release through Mountains of Records.
Available on CD digipak, online through bandcamp, iTunes, Spotify on 20th October 2012.
Limited edition Vinyl in 2013.

In their relatively brief lifespan they have supported notable acts such as Tall Ships, Tubelord, Hold Your Horse Is, United Fruit, Talons, Alright the Captain, Illness, Wot Gorilla? and Former Monarchs (UK Tour), released two CD's both to critical acclaim and won Lincoln BOTB 2012. To support the release of Shouting at Bridges, Bear Makes Ninja are set to hit the road on the their 3rd tour and this one sees them head to Ireland and several favourite UK venues.
