WVM announce debut album The End Is Only the Beginning

Multi-instrumentalist WVM has released three singles from his highly anticipated debut album, "The End Is Only the Beginning," mixed by "Downward Spiral" and "Mechanical Animals" mastermind Sean Beavan, who also invited WVM to record vocals at his private Blue Room Studio in Los Angeles. The album features two guest drummers, Chris Vrenna (Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson) for the lead track "Black Sun" and Josh Freese (A Perfect Circle, Nine Inch Nails) for the songs "For A Better Tomorrow" and "Escapism."
The tracks can be streamed and purchased at

"Working with Sean has been amazing as he is sonically responsible for a lot of my favorite albums," said WVM. "I wanted to combine electronics and organic instruments in a symbiotic manner where genres are eliminated and all that exists is creation. My focus was on the aesthetic, whether visceral or pleasing. What matters are the sounds and ideas in my head."

"WVM has all the warm, yummy, electronic goodness of vintage Gary Numan, with instant melodic hookery and a real artist's vision; unique, original, and accessible," says Sean Beavan.

Available on Bandcamp and iTunes, the singles contain a wide spectrum of sounds that foretell what to expect from the remainder of the new album. "When I created these songs I didn't limit myself as to how they should sound. I simply created the music I wanted to hear, which is why I think my sound doesn't really belong to any genre. The main reason I decided to use the moniker WVM, where the letters don't actually stand for anything, is because I would rather my music identify and brand me rather than a band name."

The full album release of "The End Is Only the Beginning" is slated before the end of 2012.
