The Modern release new single Boys Can Dance on 12th November


The Modern are a four-piece indie band from Worcester, England. The band, formed in 2009, have a huge growing fanbase around Coventry/Birmingham and have become a favourite live act for many venues across the midlands.

With good songs and plenty of passion these four lads have managed to support well known artists such as Shaun Ryder, Ocean Colour Scene and have been invited to play at NOEL GALLAGHERS NIA AFTER-SHOW PARTY at the Birmingham Ballroom. The band have been recognized for there talent by the Libertines frontman Pete Doherty and from that been offered gigs later on this year in central london.

Currently The Modern are recording there album with the talented Matt Terry who has worked with the likes of the enemy/ocean colour scene. They plan to release the album next year. Meanwhile, as off the 12th November the moderns single 'Boys Can Dance' will be available on iTunes.

The Modern have very much arrived.

More and more are waving the flag and heaping praise on these four Midlands lads who have that rare ‘something’ – a talent and potential which only raises its head every now and then.
