Tom Frankel storming ahead with his next release Yeah you party people
More Than Bare’ head honcho Tom Frankel is having a storming 12 months in the industry, and he shows no signs in stopping with his next release ‘Yeah you party people’ on new digital only ‘Melted Recordings. The track has been doing the rounds for over a year but when label boss Jimi Suarez asked Tom to be part of a new adventure, he couldn’t resist teaming up with an old Iberciano amigo with who he share mixing space with during Ibizas high season.
Tom has is a huge fan of the old school sound and it shines through in this production, the clear stabs, bouncy yet driving bass line and splishy splashy high hats give this track the attitude it needs to drive an expecting dance floor on until 6AM. The breakdown causes natural ecstasy to the dancefloor when it breaks down, the chop up of beats and swung stabs add to the dramatic effect and it doesn’t mess about when the track gets back to business.
The track is set to be released as a 1 week exclusive with an edit and remixes from the V Club residents ‘DirtybyDesign’ who have teamed up with hot label ‘HyperColour’ to throw boat parties every Saturday and ‘Melted’ who return for a second season after year testing the waters in Manchester. The re-release in the summer will no doubt be the sound track to the Ibiza workers season.
Tom has had releases on Dog records and a remix on Flat 7 already this year and also becoming the 3rd best selling artist for Dog Records and that recording is surely weeks away from becoming the best seller of all time and is up to a massive number 58 in the indie/disco Chart. His Club night ‘More Than Bare’ has gone from strength to strength since its birth on the white isles sandy beaches last season. We have seen Tom hosting a room in Egg Club who’s guests include DJ Sneak, Alexis Raphael and Art Department. The ‘More Than Bare’ family holding their own with the big boys on more than once occasion. This summer will see Tom his take his brand to Italy to host a stage at the ‘Vertigo ‘ which has the likes off Steve Lawler, The Martinez Brothers and DJ T to name a few selectors that will be playing the event, This all comes down to Toms expectation of perfection with his sets, productions and events, and the hard work finally looks like it is paying off. Tom heads to Ibiza again this summer with a full set of new tricks up his sleeve and by all means shows no indication of slowing down.
‘Yeah you party people’ will be released on May 24th and will exclusively available from Beat Port for one week only with a summer EP released with a brand new Ibiza 2013 edit with remixes from V Club residents which will be available in July.
