Nigerian Popstar 2Face Announces London Date at The Forum
2Face is performing with full live band on Thursday 5th December at the Kentish Town Forum, London UK. Tickets are £25/£30 adv (general/balcony) and go on sale on Friday 21st June at 9am.
Africa's most successful pop star of the past decade, 2Face Idibia, drops the hot new single "Rainbow" featuring American Hip-hop/RandB sensation T-Pain on the Hypertek label on June 16, 2013 in the US and UK.
Produced by LA-based Femi 'Femdouble' Ojetunde and Olubunmi 'Gsol' Afolabi, "Rainbow" is an infectious pop song about a repentant prodigal pledging eternal commitment to the one he should stayed with from the start.
2face and T-Pain shine brightly in both writing and performance terms on a track that's been generally touted to better the impact of "African Queen", the break-through single from his 2004 solo debut album "Face 2 Face" which was Africa's first global hit of the new era.
After years of effortless dominance of the continent's pop scene, 2face seems to have stepped it up a notch with the release of 2012's Away and Beyond for which he has earned a BET Awards nod for Best Int'l Artiste of the Year. Well-received performances at MTV All Stars Music Festival in Durban, SA with Snoop Lion, Africa Unplugged at the Wembley Arena and USA/Live Nation concert in House of Blues, Chicago among others have clearly signalled his intention to take his music to the global circuit.
2face has again been nominated for the "2013 Black Entertainment BET Best International Act Award" taking place at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on June 30.
