Starlight Theatre to play Cambridge’s LodeStar Festival

BBC Radio gave Australian four piece ‘Starlight Theatre’  their first spins this week, after presenters witnessed the bands live set at Cambridge’s LodeStar Festival.

The pop/ambient group opened the festivals main stage on Saturday to a rapturous response, resulting in surprise record sales, in depth interview and debut radio play on BBC’s Cambridgeshire station.

BBC’s Sue Marchant said “Starlight Theatre are the essential live band. Four guys who deliver well-crafted songs with a contemporary pop/ambient flavour; fabulous!”

The bands’ LodeStar set also earned them a spot at London’s popular Oxjam festival in October. It’s all guns blazing for the Australian quartet who continue to tour The United Kingdom 100% independently.
