Bath born rapper Gimson releases Debut Single Reality Check

Reality Check is the debut single from the Bath born rapper Gimson pronounced Gym-Sun. It is a social commentary over a gritty synth lead and un-quantized drums which was produced by Ded Tebiase and also features legendary UK hip hop artist Blak Twang as well as Benji Clements, Rosko and Dane Gumas.

Currently working on his debut album, „Tramadol dreams, the socially awkward 6‟ 4” rapper says in his deep West Country accent, “The buzz I got when Twang agreed to feature on Reality Check was out of this world. Having a legendary and respected artist like that agree to work with you is the sh*t so for me, it was only right to drop „Reality Check‟as the first single from the album and although „Reality Check is still a social commentary its probably the least dark track on the album but that sh*t bangs none the less.”

With multiple gigs and music videos planned before the release of his debut album „Tramadol Dreams in November 2014,  Gimson is definitely an artist and character to watch out for. Once described as a shrinks overtime he is a crude poet with a depth of imagination that is dark, cold and hard hitting. As said previously his raps are a social commentary consisting of heart  breaking tales, dark humour and picturesque imagery, bordering on the morbid at times.

Gimson explains bluntly, "Life is about stories and in order to tell stories you need to have experienced stuff. If you havent  experienced stuff then what are you doing with your life?"
