London and Bristol based BOMBS release debut E.P.
London and Bristol based 6piece, BOMBS, release their 1st E.P. this Sunday (12 January). BOMBS combine triphop rhythms with a rock and roll attitude to create an edgy and individual sound. The songs were recorded in 2 days in a cottage in the countryside alongside 6 live studio videos, and this month sees the release of 3 more music videos and string of gigs around the country.
'It's been a lot of hard work' sighs lead singer Charlie Fitzgerald, 'but we've loved every second of it!'. BOMBS played several festivals last year, including Glastonbury, Bestival, Shambala, and Boomtown, and they're looking forward to getting back on stages this year. 'I'd live at a festival if I could' laughs Adam Holgate, bassist and backing vocalist. 'There's nothing better than getting dressed up like a nut and performing to people'.

BOMBS is a 6 piece UK based Soul/Rock band with influences of Electronica, Triphop and Turntablism. We put a modern spin on our love of old records from the 30's through to the 70's, combining it with the styles of Radiohead, Beck, Bonobo, Black Keys and 90's Hip Hop. From a melting pot of styles we hope this new genre will excite the listener and bring our music to large festival audiences and the forefront of cutting edge music in the UK and overseas.
