Dynamic electro-hip-hop-spoken-word duo Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip return to Liverpool's East Village Arts Club venue on Thursday 24th April 2014 as part of their latest headline tour.

Combining Le Sac's production, programming, keyboards, guitars and backing vocals with Pip's sung, spoken, and rapped witticisms and social commentary, the pair have been trailblazing their unique live show since 2006 and have built up a steady following in Liverpool after appearances at Liverpool Sound City, Liverpool Music Week and a host of their own shows.

Signed with Radio One DJ Rob Da Bank's own Sunday Best record label, Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip released their debut album in 2008. Titled 'Angles,' it reached 31 in the UK album chart, with their second album 'The Logic of Chance' following in 2010 to similar success.

'Stunner', their first single in 3 years, was released as a free download on Pip’s birthday as an advance of their hugely anticipated third album 'Repent Replenish Repeat' and has now clocked up just shy of half a million views on YouTube. Released on 7th October 2013 it debuted at number 22 in the UK top 40, the duo's highest album chart position to date.

The duo cite many influences including Sage Francis, Gil Scott-Heron, Chilly Gonzales, KRS-One, Rakim, Atmosphere, Purple Ronnie, Joy Division, Kraftwerk, Clark, El-P, Gorecki, Devendra Banhart, Beta Band, Lil Wayne, 2Chainz and Mogwai.

Their intense delivery and close relationship with their fans promises a unique live experience at the Arts Club. This is a show you won't want to miss!
