indie rock trio The Luka State unveil tour documentary video
Cheshire based indie-rock trio The Luka State consists of Conrad Ellis (Lead Vocals/Guitar), Sam Bell (Bass) and Jess Whitmore (Drums). Over the past couple of months they have been on tour in Germany and have documented their experiences in a short tour video entitled ‘A Love Letter to Rock n Roll’, which gives an exciting yet candid insight into life on the road as a new and breaking band.
In their own words ‘We wanted to make something a little different rather than your standard tour diary. What’s the point in doing the same as everybody else. Being in a band means hard work, putting the effort in and really going at it. We wanted to show the truth and show that in this wicked industry nothing is handed to you on a plate, its not all easy and you have to work for it’
The Luka State release their new single ‘Rain’ via Project Records on 7th July 2014 and you can hear a taster of it as the second song on the video, which also features their first single ‘Matter of Time’.
The band recently worked with Game of Thrones actor Thomas Brodie-Sangster, who appeared as the lead actor in the gritty hard-hitting music video for their single ’30 Minute Break’. The video premiered on The Hollywood Reporter and has received just under 90,000 views on YouTube so far.
