Liz Lawrence releases video for On Health and Safety

23 year-old Liz Lawrence has packed in a lot of music business experience in a short time.  After signing her publishing to Sony/ATV, she supported high profile artists such as Ben Howard, Scouting for Girls, Xavier Rudd, The Civil Wars, Michael Kiwanuka, Chris Rea, Black and Ani Difranco and gave a performance at the 2012 Olympics. Liz is currently singing backing vocals for Bombay Bicycle Club on their world tour, of which reviewers have said

On Health and Safety she assembles a crack team of musicians and studio personnel: keyboards - Mike Rowe (Noel Gallagher, Sheryl Crow), bass - Simon Edwards (Talk Talk, Beth Gibbons), drums and backing vocals - Harry Mead (Ronan Keating, Ayumi Hamasaki), produced by Grammy nominated guitarist and producer Calum MacColl (Rokia Traore, Backstreet Boys) and mastered by George Shilling (Oasis, Blur). The title track of the EP is the first of five songs that showcase her distinctive vocals and punchy direct lyrics to perfection.

In 2013 self released debut album, Bedroom Hero, topped the Bandcamp charts.  Radio support came from RTE (Ireland), BBC 6 Music, several BBC regional stations, Absolute Radio, Q Radio, Amazing Radio and independent shows across the UK, Spain and Germany.

Track ‘When I Was Younger’ was used in teen favourite The Vampire Diaries, and track ‘Sons and Daughters’, co-written with Allman Brown, featured in several US TV shows.
