Under The Bridge Announces Autumn Live Music Programme

West London’s Under The Bridge has announced its Autumn live music programme, which features a varied selection of some of the finest acts from around the world.

Highlights include Jurassic 5 MC Chali 2na; million-selling Britpop legends Dodgy; sublime US singer-songwriter Raul Midon; rising star rapper and producer Fuse ODG; the first show in 20 years from Jah Wobble’s Invaders of the Heart; Brazilian star Ceu; and chart-topping '80s outfit Matt Bianco.

Jesse Boykins III
August 28th
Alternative R&B singer Jesse Boykins III boasts a five-octave vocal range and a wide scope of inspirations that stretch from classic soul to the likes of Björk and Bilal. He has also soaked up the music of the various cultures to which he has been exposed, including reggae and salsa, but his output is rooted in RandB, occasionally accented with off-center electronics.

Roger Chapman

Roger Chapman, also known as Chappo, is an English rock vocalist. He is best known as a member of the progressive rock band Family, which he joined along with Charlie Whitney in 1966 and also the rock/R&B band Streetwalkers, formed in 1974. His idiosyncratic brand of showmanship led him to become a cult figure on the British rock scene.

Chali 2na

Chali 2na has done it all. From his days growing up on the hardscrabble streets of Chicago’s south side, to his subsequent explosion onto Los Angeles’ burgeoning hip-hop scene, to his tenure as MC for seminal hip-hop group Jurassic 5, Chali epitomizes the portrait of a 21st century artist.

This October, Jah Wobble celebrates 36 years in music with an ambitious career-spanning 6-CD box set entitled 'ReDux', and the release of brand new single ‘Let’s Go Psycho’. Born in London and raised in Ghana, Fuse returned to London for his secondary education, and it was here he developed a passion for music, writing and producing songs that sought to amalgamate his African roots with a British urban pop sound. Fresh from the release of his chart-topping single ‘Dangerous Love feat. Sean Paul’, the MOBO Award-winning rapper/singer/producer uses this exclusive show to launch his debut album T.I.N.A.

Formed from the ashes of Blue Ronda a la Turk in 1982, Matt Bianco had a string of top 10 UK hits in 1984 including 'Get out of your lazy bed’, 'Half a minute', 'More than I can bear' & 'Sneaking out the back door'. Spearheading the craze for jazz/pop alongside other acts such as Sade, Everything But the Girl, The Style Council and Working Week, Matt Bianco went on to have more hits and broke into the USA market in 1988 with their Emilio Estefan produced track 'Don’t blame it on that girl’. Expect a mixture of new and older material tonight at this exclusive London show.

Secret Affair
