ARIANA GRANDE’s My Everything [Republic Records] is the #1 album in the world right now! The award-winning superstar’s second full-length album captured the #1 spot on Billboard’s Top 200, #1 on iTunes in over 85 countries worldwide, #1 on Spotify, with digital streaming services yielding over 200 million streams. The combined digital video views from this album have surpassed 300 million, while the combined digital tracks have exceeded 6 million. In its debut week, My Everything has sold 300 thousand albums globally.  This week, ARIANA became the #1 artist on Spotify and #1 on the Billboard Artist 100 Chart. Less than a year ago, her major label debut Yours Truly topped the Billboard Top 200 at #1, and she now returns to that spot. It’s truly a historical week for the artist.

Spotify, who called ARIANA the “most-streamed artist in the world,” saw My Everything receive over 38 million streams globally during release week.  ARIANA breaks the record for the highest streaming debut week of 2014 for a female on Spotify. Plus, "Problem" [featuring Iggy Azalea], "Break Free" [featuring Zedd], and "Bang Bang" with Nicki Minaj and Jessie J all held strong in the Global Spotify Top 10. Internationally the album is #1 in Australia, Mexico, Canada, Japan and Top 5 in the UK, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, Sweden, Netherlands, Austria, and Switzerland.

She kicked off last week by opening up the MTV VMAs with a performance of her single “Break Free” before delivering the television debut of her latest  smash “Bang Bang”  alongside  Nicki Minaj and Jessie J. That same night, she took home “Best Pop Music Video” for her multi-platinum record-setting hit “Problem”. My Everything became available at midnight shortly after the VMAs and it vaulted to #1 on iTunes Overall Top Albums Chart. MTV.com  went on to premiere the music video for “Bang Bang” before it went wide on VEVO. Watch it here!  You can also check out the previously released music video for “Break Free” here, currently with over 43 million views.

Rolling Stone called My Everything, “a confident, intelligent, brazen pop statement, mixing bubblegum diva vocals”. The magazine went on to say the album “proves she’s already a major force”. Billboard commented that “she has transformed from pop artist you ought to know to an undeniable superstar”, USA Today wrote, “Blending sugar and spice, Everything reaches out to everyone in GRANDE’s growing fan base”, and Associated Press claimed, “This is how you follow up an impressive debut: simply step into the recording booth, and be amazing yet again.”

Last week, ARIANA also took the stage at America’s Got Talent and closed down midtown Manhattan as 12,000 fans came out to see her performance on NBC’s The Today Show as part of their Summer Concert Series. She’s also gearing up to sing the national anthem at the NFL Kickoff Game on September 4 and will perform on Stand Up To Cancer September 5. Right now, you can watch her performances on the Honda Stage at the iHeartRadio Theater LA of “Break Free” here, and “Best Mistake” feat Big Sean here. ARIANA currently graces the cover of Seventeen Magazine, and was featured on the cover of Billboard album release week. Be on the lookout for some very big tour news soon.

“Problem” first set the stage for My Everything in May. It achieved astounding first-week sales of 435,000-plus, at the time making for the biggest single debut of the year and currently the fifth highest for a female artist ever. She also becomes the “Youngest Woman to Debut with More Than 400,000 Downloads”, and it’s now the ninth highest digital song debut of all-time. In SoundScan history, it remains one of only ten tracks to debut with over 400,000 digital downloads during its release week.  Meanwhile, it arrived at #1 on Billboard's Digital Songs Chart and vaulted to #1 on iTunes in over 65 countries. At the 2014 Teen Choice Awards, ARIANA took home the honors of “Choice Female Artist” and “Choice Single” for “Problem”.  At the 2014 MTV VMAS, “Problem” was named “Best Pop Video” as well. In 2014, she also became the first woman in history and the first artist since Michael Jackson to simultaneously have three songs in the Top 6 of the Digital Songs Chart.

ARIANA GRANDE first landed at the top with her first full-length album for Republic Records, Yours Truly. It debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200, Billboard Digital Albums Chart, and iTunes Overall Albums Chart. Moreover, it yielded the game-changing pop smash "The Way" featuring Mac Miller. One of 2013's defining songs, the single went double-platinum, hit the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 and reached #1 on the iTunes Overall Top Songs Chart. In the aftermath, she was named “Best New Artist” at the American Music Awards in 2013. GRANDE's magnetic charm, impressive voice, and astounding presence have enchanted millions of fans worldwide. 2014 saw her reach incredible heights right out of the gate. The first single from her sophomore album, “Problem" featuring Iggy Azalea, saw her become the "youngest woman to debut with over 400K sold first-week". In addition to ranking as the 5th "highest digital song debut for a female artist" and 9th highest ever, the platinum smash debuted at #1 in 65 countries, topping the iTunes overall Top Songs and Pop Songs charts for four weeks. Other accolades followed throughout the year with GRANDE winning "Favorite Breakout Artist" at the People's Choice Awards 2014, the "Young Influencer Award" at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, the "Radio Disney Chart Topper Award", “Choice Female Artist” and “Choice Single” “Problem” at the 2014 Teen Choice Awards, and more. At the 2014 MTV VMAS, “Problem” was named “Best Pop Video” as well. In 2014, she also became the first woman in history and the first artist since Michael Jackson to simultaneously have three songs in the Top 6 of the Digital Songs Chart. Still, the future looks brighter than ever as her star continues to rise.
