Awakenings and LWE present Drumcode Halloween With Original Penguin
Halloween has become a major event in the London clubbing calendar and this year at the very top of the pile will be the legendary DRUMCODE Halloween show. To mark the fifth Anniversary they’ve called on AWAKENINGS to put their unique hallmark on the amazing Tobacco Dock venue.
Original Penguin has joined forces with AWAKENINGS and LWE and will be bringing legendary graffiti artists Boaster and Tizer to spray live while DJs pump out tunes that will add a dramatic visual element to proceedings.
Iconic fashion brand, Original Penguin has a long-standing history with music. The much-celebrated Original Penguin Plugged In Series has identified and championed a diverse array of musicians at the beginning of their careers. Acts that have performed at these sessions include Jake Bugg, DJ Friction, Twin Atlantic, Gorgon City, Wilkinson, Benga, Nick Mulvey, Miles Kane and Peace.
After four years of selling out the hallowed Great Suffolk Street warehouse, AWAKENINGS have decided to move it up a gear. Record company founder Head label honcho, Adam Beyer, has handpicked his usual label cohorts to join alongside a stellar guest lineup of established and new talent.
Known for their incredible production and unforgettable parties, AWAKENINGS will bring a whole new dynamic to this infamous date in London's techno calendar.
