Threshold 2015 - First Acts Announced for Festival in March
The road to Threshold V is opening up in front of us and with less than 3 months to go we’re very excited to give you the first 20 fantastic acts to enjoy!
With London based 11 piece Dub, Afro-Beat, Hip-Hop outfit Nubian Twist heading up the bill!There’s plenty of info and links to get your gnashers into!
Nubiyan Twist
Nubiyan Twist are a 12 piece outfit based in Leeds/London, fusing groove driven music from around the world with soundsystem culture and jazz inspired improvisation. A culmination of musicians, dj’s and producers alike, the band strives to encourage artistic and social unity between different cultures and musical styles. Notable influences include the likes of Fela Kuti, King Tubby, J Dilla and Herbie Hancock.
Eliza Shaddad
As a vocalist and writer with chart-dominating electronic outfit, Clean Bandit, Eliza appears on their UK Shanty and Mozart’s House EP’s as well as recently released debut album, ‘New Eyes’. With Clean Bandit, Shaddad has supported Rudimental, SBTRKT and Alt-J.
Her latest EP Waters was produced by Mercury Music Prize nominee Chris Bond.

Space Punk band CuT have gained the attention of the likes of Steve Lemacq with airplay on BBC6 music and well received Maida Vale Session back in August
Inspired by the beatnik and punk movements of the 60‘s, 70’s and early 90’s, the band are picking up a lot of interest in the industry and gaining support at their intense live shows. Threshold is part of their UK tour announced on Wednesday 7th Jan.
