Jessie J Announces New Single Masterpiece
Hot off the heels of her US platinum selling, UK #1 single "Bang Bang" with Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj and the release of her third studio album, international superstar and UK pop phenomenon Jessie J is set to release her latest single 'Masterpiece'.
Jessie stormed back into the charts and onto television sets in spectacular fashion with an incredible live vocal performance of "Bang Bang" opening the MTV VMA's in LA alongside Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj, as well as earning a Grammy Nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Last year saw the release of her latest studio album, "Sweet Talker" securing Jessie her third UK top 5 album and another MOBO Award for "Best Female".
Still boasting one of the UK's most impressive, gravity-defying vocal ranges, Jessie gobsmacked audiences across the nation with two heart-racing vocal performances at the the MOBO Awards and on the X Factor with medley's of "Bang Bang" and album track "Burnin' Up".
The new single, "Masterpiece" is full of Jessie J's signature swagger, opening with a defiant string section and hard hitting lyrics, Jessie once again sets the stage for her new contagious single. In the US, "Sweet Talker" entered into the top 10 album of the Billboard Top 100 chart while Jessie made her mark with impressive vocal performances of "Bang Bang" on "Dancing with the Stars", "The Ellen Degeneres Show" and "Good Morning America". In addition, Jessie shared the stage with Tom Jones at this year's Grammys in LA performing a stellar rendition of The Righteous Brothers' 1964 hit 'You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'. Jessie has clocked up an impressive 80 million Spotify streams and over 220 million video views of "Bang Bang".
Jessie J is currently touring the UK with her new album as she performs at venues such as London's Brixton O2 Academy and other O2 Academy's across the country. "Sweet Talker" is a powerful, grown-up record made to be performed live.
