TBD Festival 2015 Announce Tears For Fears, Cut Copy, Purity Ring and more

TBD Fest, is a three day music festival taking place September 18th, 19th and 20th in West Sacramento’s Bridge District that will feature performances by Pretty Lights, Tears for Fears, Cut Copy, Tyler The Creator, Tycho, Purity Ring, Twin Shadow, Ratatat, and more.

The festival garnered a lot of attention in 2014 with acts like Justice, Blondie, Moby and Empire of the Sun.

The festival organizers Michael Hargis and Clay Nutting set out to create a line-up that would rival some of the best festivals in the country while delivering an experience that only a boutique festival can offer.

Our goal is not to be the biggest, our goal is to curate the best festival experience possible. Our line-up is personally curated with iconic and emerging artists that we are really excited about, and you get to see them in an intimate setting.” said Nutting.

While headlining acts may grab the attention of fans throughout Northern California and beyond, the festivals ability to highlight the region’s creative community through the festival experience makes the event standout.

Nutting added “Sacramento is the gateway to Northern California. The beer, the wine, the food, the creativity in this region is really unique and we get to show that off through our festival with experiences like Friendly Fire, a chef driven, wood-fire cooking battle. This year we will paid Sacramento Chefs against Chefs from San Fransisco. It’s a fun and unique way to show off Northern California.”

In addition to some of the best regional cuisine available, the event will feature yoga, fashion, art, design, and amusement rides, making TBD Fest perfect for everyone from the seasoned festival-goer to a family looking for a fun weekend activity.

““I am beyond thrilled to announce an eclectic lineup featuring legends like Tears for Fears to young exciting electronic acts like Louis The Child. Putting together this lineup through the year has been nothing short of interesting to say the least. The City of Sacramento has a truly up and coming arts and music scene, and I’m so happy to be a part of it."”
