We posted an article a couple of weeks ago regarding the Lakeside Boardwalk busking competiton and we now have an update on the final outcome of the competition.
As you already know, the final of Boardwalk Busking has now taken place and we are pleased to announce that our wild-card entry Jakob is taking home the title. The audience immediately warmed to his eclectic style and voted for him to claim the crown of Boardwalk Busker 2011. You heard it here first! See his fantastic performance here.
As he is now Lakeside’s Boardwalk Busker 2011, Jakob has won a full day at a top-class recording studio, full styling session, £500 Lakeside Gift Card, Gold Disk Trophy and his track downloadable from the HEART Essex and the Lakeside websites.
All is not lost for the other finalists, however. David Reed and Lloyd Coombes came joint second, winning a £250 Lakeside Gift Card and a Silver Disk Trophy each.
The winner’s performance is on Sunday 24th July live at Lakeside on The Boardwalk, where Jakob will be busking to raise as much money as possible. We’d love you and your readers to come down to Lakeside to lend your support at the end of this exciting competition.
