Liverpool Indie four piece Get Back Colquitt release their eagerly awaited debut EP ‘The
Green Door’ as a digital release on Monday 23rd of April, with a limited edition physical
release and launch party to follow.
‘The Green Door’ will be the first release from prolific Liverpool promoters Lazy Genius
and their new independent label. Lazy Genius director Tom Valentine Johnson said ‘We are extremely excited to be launching Lazy Genius Records, and even more pleased that Get Back Colquitt’s first release, will be also be ours. We have been working with the band for a year now, nurturing them on the Liverpool scene, and excitement is really building around their debut record and what 2012 holds for them.’
Get Back Colquitt have indeed had a busy year, building a significant and loyal fan base in the North West and further afield, supporting the likes of Frankie and The Heartstrings, To Kill A King, Life In Film and The Twang along the way. ‘The Green Door’ is a real statement of intent. With hints of Bombay Bicycle Club and the raw energy of The Sunshine Underground as well as a nod to MONA, it is four tracks of blistering Indie Pop.

2. Hats Off To Heights
