Louise Quinn releases EP
Featuring a remix by Scottish indie jazz legend Bill Wells and a cover of 1930's Broadway classic Exactly Like You. Up and coming Scottish director Uisdean Murray is also collaborating with her on a short film inspired by the title track.
Louise has appeared on several Kid Loco albums; Kill Your Darlings; Party Animals and Disco Biscuits and the most recent Confessions Of A Belladonna Eater.
Scottish crime writer Ian Rankin wrote the sleevenotes for A Band Called Quinn’s last album The Beggar’s Opera; an album of songs Quinn penned for Vanishing Point’s stage production in which the band toured in 2009.
Three of Louise’s songs feature on the soundtrack to the forthcoming second series of Lip Service which airs on BBC 3 this spring.
The single Oh Jackie from the EP is released on June 18th. You can hear the single at
