The BBC One Show looking for musicians @ Erics Liverpool
The BBC’s One Show are working with Liverpool council to inspire those who haven’t played a musical instrument in years, to dust off their old guitars, drums, cellos, violins, trombones etc. and start to play again, culminating in a performance live on TV. We are not asking for a perfect performance, it’s just about getting having a go, and most of all having a bit of fun.
We are looking to find those who are able to commit to rehearsing (in the Liverpool area) on Tuesday 2nd October between 11.30am and 4.30pm, and then to perform live on The One Show on Wednesday 3rd October.
We really need people who may have been in bands that performed at the Cavern, Eric’s and other such venues in the 70’s 80’s and early 90’s… The only thing is we need people that for one reason or another haven’t performed publicly in quite a long time…
