Since Monroe To Release Single on 4th February 2013

The midlands based outfit Since Monroe have been beavering away at new material since the release of the debut EP Lost Generation.  This time, going with Gavin Monaghan (Editors, Bloc Party and Kings of Leon), they're back with the single "Everyone's a Statue" which will be released onto itunes on 4th February 2013.

Rich, Matt, Andy and James have all said they are pleased with the direction the sound has gone towards, which is more riff driven and heavier sounding than some of the earlier material from Lost Generation.

There is a sidestep to the single though in that all sales made from "Everyone's a Statue" will go to the charity Children Today, with Rich himself taking part in the PFA Grand Canyon Challenge to raise funds for the charity, who help disabled children fulfill their everyday needs.

Since Monroe have already got a couple a gigs lined up in 2013, notably in Birmingham at the Sunflower Lounge on 2nd February which will double up as a Single Launch/ Charity Fundraiser, as well as London, playing at the Dublin Castle in Camden on 12th April.  More shows are expected to be announced.
