Big Wave To Perform Live Online Gig and New Single 'GoldMine'
After generating a substantial amount of blog buzz during 2012 following the release of ‘The Roots of Love Come Tumbling Down’ EP and two subsequent singles: ‘Dying on the Vine’ and ‘Only You’, Torquay quintet Big Wave return with another nostalgic slice of faded South Coast glamour in the form of their new single 'Goldmine.'
Once again the band demonstrate their innate ability to write uplifting, hook laden guitar driven pop. They describe 'Goldmine' as a tune which embodies "all the light, glitter but also the darkness suggested by the song’s title. It also explores themes relating to the effort of creation and creativity."
The band have also released one of their trademark idiosyncratic videos to accompany the song.
‘Goldmine’ is to be released on Monday 20th May on limited edition gold cassette via Art Is Hard records and can be pre-ordered HERE.
