Star Scream is a collective of human beings from the South East of England who use guitars, drums, white noise, strings, feedback, shouting and pianos to conjure up melodies to mesmerise in the 21st century.
Star Scream exists in an age of copyists and bandwagon-jumpers, Its sole purpose is to sound unlike anything else you’ve ever heard whilst sounding exactly like everything else you’d ever want to hear.
Star Scream is the sound of tomorrow - We’ll see you in the future.

Musical Style: Theatrical Rock n Roll. A mix of contemporary rock sounds with huge choruses and jagged guitars underpinned with elements of electronica.
Place of Birth:Hastings, East Sussex.
Influenced by: Muse, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Marilyn Manson, Biffy Clyro and too many late nights.

Lead singer Adam Lightspeed not only wrote and recorded all the music and lyrics for Sexploitation, he also produced and mastered the album in his own studio ‘The Oratory’. He created all the accompanying artwork and set up the bands Record Label and Publishing Company ‘Roseblood Recordings’to release/unleash the album.
Adam Lightspeed and Aoife have been playing live together since meeting at music college, the current STAR SCREAM line-up have been playing together since 2011 when Sky London joined, replacing previous drummer Dom Jenova.
Adam Lightspeed is a well-known London DJ where he is the resident weekly DJ at the Electric Ballroom, Camden.
Sexploitation is a concept album and the band has created a range of special merchandise to tie in with the theme.
Ellis Rich, the then chairman of PRS, was so impressed by the band that he offered them a publishing deal after hearing just half of their song ‘Roseblood’.
STAR SCREAM has played over 200 live shows across the UK.
