Supernatural rock groove “HOLLA”, is taken from the truly stunning new album Cracking the Code. In addition to Messrs. Taylor and Carney, also features Hubert Sumlin’s final recording appearance and the supergroup’s sizzling single has been hotly tipped for summer anthem breaktout (“Strutting and fresh” Sunday Times Culture. “Incredible” BBC Radio 6).
“HOLLA” is lead off track from much anticipated “Cracking The Code” , the 5th album by US born London resident Stephen Dale Petit. Recorded in Nashville, London and New Orleans by Grammy Award winning Jack White recording man Vance Powell, the new release boasts an all original 11 song set and arrives in a special edition, signed and numbered 180 gm red vinyl limited pressing alongside downloads of the album.
Available now as a pre-order, with CD release to follow in Sept.
Petit, rehearsing for the upcoming live shows he’ll undertake in support of the album, said “It’s been mind blowing to get to work with the best musicians and producers in the world, the crème de la crème. I can’t wait for people to hear it!”
Voodoo guru Dr. John, whose guest performances on “Cracking The Code” complete the stellar roll call of musician greats giving Petit his props, was unequivocal in his verdict…….“Slammin!”
