Longfellow acoustic performance on the steps of St Paul's
Longfellow is Owen Lloyd (lead vocals), Tom Warhurst (Drums), James Thomas (Electric Guitar), Isaac Shiman (Bass Guitar) and Ali Hetherington (Piano/synth). They are set to release their heart-stopping single ‘Gabrielle’ on 29th July 2013.
Championed last year by UBR (Emerging Icons), Longfellow went on to play at the London 2012 Olympics and in 2013 have been rapidly gaining new fans supporting To Kill a King, Example and Feeder, whilst lead singer Owen already has a publishing deal with Universal under his belt.
With the sun shining almost relentlessly this week, Longfellow took the streets of London with their photographer Tom Leishman. On the steps of St Paul’s they performed a sterling acoustic rendition of the folky ‘May The Light’, which is the B-side of their debut single release ‘Gabrielle’. ‘Gabrielle’ is the band’s first single release for 2013 and is the product of many months locked away in a studio recording new material and honing their melancholy but epic sounding songs, which draw on their many folk, pop and indie influences.

You can catch Longfellow live at the Club Fandango night on Thursday 25th July at 229 Club, London.
