The Assist are a 4 piece indie/alternative band from Walsall formed in early 2013. The lads are Mikey and Ryan Stanton, Jak Baker and Ben Faulkner.
The lads have a huge passion for real music, and their honest, hard hitting lyrics speak for themselves. It’s music that anyone can identify with from their sing along anthems to their infectious guitar riffs.
The band has achieved relative success in such a short time with a headline gigs at The 02 Academy 3 and the Sunflower Lounge in Birmingham, support slots with Reverend and the Makers, twisted Wheel and also legendary bass player of The Jam Bruce Foxton. They’ve frequently had Headlines in local newspapers and also airplay on FM radio stations including BBC introducing.
