Timber Timbre make Liverpool debut at Leaf Cafe
Acclaimed in a recent five star album review by The Guardian as ‘the soundtrack to a western directed by David Lynch’, Timber Timbre make their Liverpool debut in mid October.
Reaching an international audience via cult TV series Breaking Bad which featured their track Magic Arrow, the Canadian folk/blues trio issued their fifth album Hot Dreams to huge praise in April.
The follow up to Creep On Creepin’ On (2011) shortlisted for the Polaris Music Prize alongside eventual winners Arcade Fire, the band are part of the fertile Toronto music scene spearheaded by Broken Social Scene, with the new album also being nominated for a second year running.
Signed to revered UK indie label Full Time Hobby alongside The Lesiure Society and Tunng tours of North America with Laura Marling and Feist have spread word of Timber Timbre’s intense atmospheric live power.
