Rolls Bayce to release debut EP November 7th
For a band with only two official releases to their name, ROLLS BAYCE are already making a deafening amount of noise. The Brisbane outfit - featuring familiar faces from local legends Hungry Kids of Hungary and Millions - have approached their ascent to being one of the country's most buzzworthy new bands in a traditional format of restrained releases, meticulous touring and a drop of mystery. 'Arrows' introduced audiences over a year ago to this exciting new project, however, it was first single-proper - 'Don't Get Me Wrong' - which became a firm favourite amongst fans and industry tastemakers such as triple j and the NME.
With most of the EP produced by Yves Klein Blue alumni Sean Cook, this is well and truly a body of work helmed by some of the country's finest independent talent. The songs the band create are psychedelic and intense yet, amongst these layered arrangements are powerful melodies which cut through as instant classics.
Following show-stopping performances at Black Bear Lodge as part of a month long residency as well as appearances at BIGSOUND and The Blurst of Times Festival, ROLLS BAYCE show no signs of slowing down. With new music coming out next week and an EP dropping on November 7, some may call you greedy for wanting more, however, we'd say you're only human.
