Dracula Legs new Single Out Now Sand to the Beach
Hailing from all walks of life, including and limiting to Canada, the mountains of Wales, The Black Country and Essex, Dracula Legs are a five-piece overly hairy London rock’n roll men.
Influenced by blues country and that early 90s grunge, the band released debut AA single Heartburn Destination / Cold Licks through Too Pure (Beggars) and was a critical acclaimed radio hit with airplay by John Kennedy and Steve Lamacq. In their short existence the band have played shows with King Khan, The Black Lips and played to 3,000 people in an open air Canada Day celebration in Paris. They have also picked up honourable mentions in national press including 1 of the 10 ‘hot bands’ to watch out for after the NME gig at Great Escape.
After the initial excitement, the band have been locked away in a studio in Essex called the Cookie Palace and the next single is the first fruits, a classic single in the making. Released on 7” and digitally via Two Piece Records on 17 November 2014. Sand To The Beach is the A side to a more immediate side of the band. B side is Death Of An Age which takes in a more raucous feel. The artwork is also the handy work of frontman Artur. Recalling Gary Busey in Point Break.
Artur - ‘Sand to the Beach’ is about living in a subculture that’s killing you set to a mix of bumping rthythms and hooky riffs. And ‘Death of Age’ is about a woman who kills a man. But it’s ok – he deserved it.
Get ready to stomp your feet at the following show.
