Leeds based psychedelic-folk Gandhi's Hands - Small hours EP
For the past 6 months, George Roberts, has been writing and home-recording an EP, under the name 'Gandhi's Hands'. The release is titled 'Small Hours', it's 4 tracks, and is the result of a psychedelic-prog obsessed musician attempting to produce something low key and mostly acoustic-based.
This EP was massively influenced by the likes of Elliott Smith, Beck, Nick Drake, and Love. All written on an acoustic guitar, recorded as a full band, with the odd piano and egg shaker dotted around.
It won't bite you, it won't get up in your grill, the album won't force you into submission. Instead, it will invite you into it's warm home, cook you a tasty roast, pour you a scotch, and possibly try to have its way with you. It's an EP for the winter, for the 4am comedown, for a lengthy car journey through the countryside.
You can take a listen to the E.P. below at their bandcamp site.
