Your Favorite Enemies premier new single Empire Of Sorrows on Gigwise

Canadian Noise/Alt/Post-Rock sextet Your Favorite Enemies have just premiered their new single with Gigwise.

The new single is the 6 minute epic, ‘Empire Of Sorrows’, the lead track from ‘Between Illness and Migration’. The track combines brooding and dissonant spoken lyrics, (which are evocative of bands mewithoutYou), with jarring low-fi instrumentation and refined post-rock-esque vocals.

Last year Kerrang! called the band “Canada’s best kept secret”, and the band also recently premiered their new video ‘Where Did We Lose Each Other’ on theTeam Rock home page HERE.

The band are just getting ready to release their new album ‘Between Illness and Migration’ on the 24th November via Graphite Records (Kerbdog, Mojo Fury, InMe). The band’s last release rose to #2 on iTunes on the day of its release, and was also #6 top-selling artists in Canadian charts. This comes as no surprise when the bands previous releases have sold as many as 60,000 physical copies.

The band are also on tour with …And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead throughout EU/UK in November.
