Electric Six are back and, boy, are they ready to party with all of their UK fans! Care to join? This year they released their 10th album and you are cordially invited to this massive celebration of not only their new release, ‘Human Zoo’, but their monster back catalogue, stocked full of hits that will blow out the cob webs and have you all breaking out some serious moves.

An Electric Six live show is no tame affair. The Detroit six-piece have perfected the art of not only writing some incredible records, but when they hit that stage they really bring their music to life. Maximum energy and, more importantly, maximum good times; you’re unlikely to see anyone standing still at an Electric Six gig. They didn’t call their legendary track ‘High Voltage’ for nothing.

For the latest album Electric Six are the humans in the zoo and the band seeks to put itself on display in such a manner that empowers the listener and debases them, all while making everyone feel like partying. From the opening track Karate Lips, the crunchy guitars hit you in the face. Like many Electric Six albums, ‘Human Zoo’ does not have one defining sound, rather it is a sampler’s plate of the entire history of rock and roll music- Motown, spaghetti-western, hip hop, classic rock … expect it all!

Back by popular demand, genre defying Electric Six have announced a nationwide UK tour for November and December 2013, much to the delight of their loyal fans.

Originally finding popularity in 2003 with the album ‘Fire’, Electric Six have gone on to make eight studio albums, including ‘Switzerland’ in 2006 and ‘Zodiac’ in 2010. Popular songs have included a cover of Queen’s ‘Radio Gaga’, which was released in 2003 and reached No. 5 in the UK Charts. Combining high energy with outrageous songs, be prepared for a ‘high voltage’ live show when Electric Six roll out with a bang.

Having recently celebrated their 10^th anniversary in December 2012, the Detroit rockers toured breakout album ‘Fire’ in its entirety featuring energetic hits including‘Danger! High Voltage’ and ‘Gay Bar’.

Get ready for a rambunctious live show, and the possibility of new material, with word of new album set for later this year, it’s going to be a big one!

Wednesday 16^th May 2012; Detroit rockers Electric Six will be returning to the UK in November and December with their 10^th anniversary tour, performing breakout album ‘Fire’ in its entirety. Featuring energetic hits including ‘Danger! High Voltage’ and ‘Gay Bar’, the 11 date tour will take in O₂ Academy venues across the country, ending at London’s prestigious O₂ Shepherd’s Bush Empire on Saturday 15^th December, which will be filmed for a live DVD, due for release in 2013 with full stage production for a rambunctious live show!
