MusicMafia presents Norwegian band Party at the Pharmacy

Party at the Pharmacy formed in June 2014, after three of the members (Sam, Thomas and Jakob) became well acquainted at the same school in Bergen, for music and sound production.

The band released their first single in July (Violet Coloured Sunset).The song was premiered at  http://gaffa.com/nyhet/86193 which is one of the biggest music magazines in Norway.

The band recorded their first EP with Kato Ådland in Bergen. Ådland has produced and worked with many great acts, such as Sondre Lerche, Röyksopp and Ylvis.

The EP is expected to be released in may. The four track EP will be printed on vinyl and CD.

MusicMafia presents Bergen based band Party at the Pharmacy

Party at the Pharmacy are an indie rock band from Bergen that was formed in the spring of 2014. Their music has been described as resembling that of Arctic Monkeys and The Strokes, both in terms of lyrical and melodical sense. The songs are easy to dance to and are mainly about partying and subsequent feelings of love and/or regret. Unlike many other bands in the genre Party at the Pharmacy are stearing away from synthbased sounds, and instead swear to a classical guitar based sound.

They are releasing our debut single, Violet Coloured Sunset , in one of the biggest music magazines in Norway, gaffa.no
