Tantrum To Blind unveil video for single ‘IF WE LET IT GO’ + announce main support slot on Red Jumpsuit Apparatus UK tour

Swedish rockers Tantrum To Blind have finally relocated to the UK and are delighted to announce they will be main support to friends Red Jumpsuit Apparatus on their forthcoming March 2013 UK tour. Exeter party punks Rat Attack complete the tour line up – full dates are listed below. TTB come armed with huge new single ‘If We Let It Go’ the first release from the forthcoming Tantrum To Blind EP, the follow up to their debut album Walk Out which was released in the UK in August last year.

If We Let It Go has all the guts and appeal of TTB fan favourites like Get Get Get, Big City Silence and Liar Lines and the band are dead set on making a big impression in the UK with their permanent arrival on our shores. The video deals with themes of sexuality in young people and plays with peoples preconceptions of a love story, something which front woman Mel and the band feel strongly about.

We wanted to do something that kids could really relate to since there are so many young gay people who are afraid to tell people about their sexuality and struggle with coming out to friends and family” says Mel ”We've never really had any political opinions in our music but if there's something that feels right for us to have an opinion about it’s that it shouldn't be seen as a weird thing or difficult to be gay in today’s society, and bullying and discrimination are not okay.”

Addressing issues of sexuality directly is something occasionally shirked by the mainstream rock community and Tantrum To Blind are keen to challenge the way people see rock music, rock fans and the UK scene by standing up and being counted.

Shot in the bands native Stockholm by director Kristoffer Jansson who was also responsible for the Big City Silence video and Yashin’s New Year Or New York, the band enlisted actors from a local theatre school to trash a set which they built themselves as their on-screen relationships come crashing down, and comes complete with a twist in the tail designed to make fans think twice about how they see other people.

If We Let It Go is released digitally Wednesday 9th January through iTunes and is available for £0.79 - https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/if-we-let-it-go-single/id592242527

Crown Jewel Defense Announce Details Of Long Awaited Debut Album And January 2013 UK Tour Dates

It's not often that dreams come true, but that is exactly what has happened to Taylor Hood, the mastermind behind US power-pop glam-metallers Crown Jewel Defense, who are set to release their self titled debut album on January 14th 2013 and embark on a string of UK tour dates starting the same day with support from rising UK favourites Octane OK and Swedish rockers Tantrum To Blind.

This childhood musical prodigy and disciple of rock has quickly risen through the ranks of hopefuls, his hard work earning him sold out shows around the world and spots on international tours supporting superstars like All Time Low, The Darkness, Young Guns, and Foxy Shazam.

Under the watchful eye of acclaimed producer Michael "Elvis" Baskette (Falling In Reverse, Escape The Fate, Alter Bridge), the multi-instrumentalist/songwriter has crafted a debut album full of stadium anthems that are almost impossible to define, with such wide appeal that the possibilities for CJD seem almost infinite.

Blending feel-good All American classic rock like Kansas and Journey with the aggression and technical voracity of modern metal titans like Dragonforce, Avenged Sevenfold and Children Of Bodom, CJD throw in a curveball with pop melodies and songwriting sensibilities that normally sit comfortably in the Chart Top 10, creating a sound that is 100% original and 100% Crown Jewel Defense.

The secret to CJD’s success is undoubtedly their spectacular live show, which utilizes the production and entertainment elements of glam metal weaved together with the raw unpolished power of a sweaty rock club show.  With a commanding stage presence (think Steven Tyler mixed with the musical prowess of Slash) the live show also sees Taylor joined by a full live band, who expertly shape this one man’s vision into a full band spectacle that simply demands to be seen.

Taylor says of the tour: "Watching the UK fan base grow so quickly has been amazing and I'm truly grateful to each and every person who has come to a show or found the project online and has helped it take off so fast. I can't wait for this short run of headline shows. It's going to be a spectacle designed to give everyone something they can remember forever."

The video for lead single ‘Alive Again’ premieres 26th November 2012 and the Self Titled album (artwork below) is set for release 14th January 2013.
