Tijuana Bibles release new single Crucifixion

Rising Scottish four-piece Tijuana Bibles have announced the release of their brand new single ‘Crucifixion' on June 13th, ahead of new UK tour and festival dates (including Wickerman Festival).

Born and bred in Glasgow, but with more in common with the swampy blues of Louisiana, Tijuana Bibles are a mix of grungy sludge-based riffs and groove-laden rhythms. Fresh off their debut EP 'Wild River', 2014 has already seen the band sell out King Tut's legendary New Year's bash The New Year's Revolution, support Deap Valley and win a nomination for ‘Best New Act’ at the Scottish Alternative Music Awards.

Now Tijuana Bibles are set to release their new single ‘Crucifixion’ off the back of their recent free download 'Toledo', which saw them win support from the likes of NME and Q Magazine. Carrying the same red-blooded Southern-fried energy that propelled 'Toledo' into a wall of aggressive energy, 'Crucifixtion' is an exciting cut of rock courtesy of Scotland.

‘Crucifixion’ is released through Dead Beet Records on June 13th 2014. ‘Toledo’ is available now as a free download from www.tijuanabibles.co.uk.

LIVE DATES

Tijuana Bibles return with new track Toledo and live dates

Rising Scottish four-piece Tijuana Bibles have released a brand new track 'Toledo' as a free download ahead of new UK tour and festival dates (including Wickerman Festival) and an official single launch this June.

Now Tijuana Bibles have unveiled a brand new track 'Toledo' as a free download ahead of their next single release this coming June. Reeking of whiskey and catfish, 'Toledo' is a Cajun-fried piece of bluesy bar rock, leading with a steady hypnotic bass line before the track descends into a hyperactive adrenaline-fuelled barrage.

‘Toledo’ is available now as a free download exclusively from www.tijuanabibles.co.uk. Tijuana Bibles release a brand new single ‘Crucifixion’ on Dead Beet Records this coming June 14th.
