Cardiff based Life in cold climates Release Second E.P. Date Nights

Life in cold climates are a Cardiff based four-piece band that underpins catchy melodies with intricate beats, jazzy chords and rich breakdowns. Their newly released second EP 'Date Nights' was recorded, produced and mastered in their home studio in collaboration with guest musicians.

They came together two and a half years ago at the start of university, with backgrounds in Samba rhythm, folk music and rock/jazz guitar. Since then they have gigged extensively in Wales and been voted one of ten top new bands in Cardiff by Independent Music News. Having just graduated they've been on a mini-tour of North Wales, played at Wakestock festival and The Green Gathering

All of their music, and new music videos are available on www.lifeincoldclimates.com

The full EP is available to listen to on www.soundcloud.com/lifeincoldclimates.  The title track ‘Date Night’ and ‘Let it Out’ also have music videos on YouTube.

MusicMafia presents Forever Kings

Forever Kings supported by BBC Introducing in Wales and have self-released 3 singles up to date and they will be releasing 2 music videos along with an EP starting in March for the first video and May for the EP and a second video supported by an UK tour in late May.

They're getting excellent feedback from everything we do to the extent that most of their up coming gigs are either headline slots or main support.

Last years shows (from summer onwards) included Proud Camden, Thirsty Scholar Manchester and Wakestock Festival (Bastille headlined) Manchester Academy 3 (headline), Proud Camden (main support), 333 mothers bar, London (headline), Underbelly, London (headline/main support), Thirsty Scholar (headline), Tiger Tiger, Manchester (main support), Barfly Camden (support), Liverpool Oxjam, Whisky Mist, London and Voodoo Vault.

Their achievements are:

They have been BBC Wales Introducing artist of the week and had radio spins off this.

They've got on Tom Robinsons BBC6 music fresh on the net site and made it as one of the top 5 tracks.

They were top 5 on the chartburst website.

They were the only band to receive any BBC radio coverage from Wakestock festival where they supported The 1975 and Bastille.

Their music has been on a fair few online blogs and podcasts and they were mostly "featured" artists on the podcasts.
