We Love... Space Ibiza - Warehouse Project September 7 

Sunday 7th September sees the first ever Ibiza event curated by the epoch defining The Warehouse Project. Having dominated club land in the North of England for close to a decade now this very special collaboration with We Love Sundays At Space precedes the opening of their 9th WHP season in Manchester and marks their Space and Ibiza debut. 

Headlining the event Nicolas Jaar makes his one and only Ibiza appearance of 2014 DJing in the Discoteca alongside Joy Orbison and George Fitzgerald who play back to back and WHP residents Krysko and Greg Lord. Nicolas Jaar's cult status is perhaps nowhere more prominent than in Ibiza. His music resonates so strongly with the island's counter culture and the rarity of his gigs on the island means that this performance is set to be as seminal as the first ever Ibiza WHP show deserves. Joy Orbison's status in Ibiza appears on the same trajectory as Nico's with an already devoted following after less than a handful of island performances to his name. As per the We Love Space 2013 opening party he plays b2b in the Discoteca but this time around with We Love and WHP favourite George Fitzgerald. WHP residents Greg Lord and Krysko complete the bill in the main room making their We Love Sundays At Space debuts. 

The Terrace sees another debut performance in the form of none other than Kerri Chandler. As a legend of the scene, Kerri's musical legacy is well documented, as is his recent history with Ibiza. A true pioneer and leader in the field Kerri plays an exclusive Terrace set, in a room perhaps as synonymous with house music as he is. This one-off performance is not to be missed. Next on the bill on the Terrace Edible man Eats Everything makes his second We Love appearance of the summer playing this time back to back with Richy Ahmed, another artist who makes his We Love Sundays At Space debut for this specially curated WHP event. Richy and Eats play an extended

4 hour closing set. Also appearing the effortlessly cool Benoit and Sergio play live for the first time ever at We Love Sundays at Space representing the stylish side of house and electronica. 

As always We Love Sundays at Space kicks things off on the Sunset Terrace with Stripped and a host of special unannounced guests. For this special event Stripped joins forces with Manchester promoters Kaluki. At the cutting edge of house music's new wave Kaluki have been consistently at the forefront of a sound they are now synonymous with, having championed many of it’s stars from very early on. Take a look at their past lineups to get an idea of what to expect when they join forces with We Love and Stripped for the first time. From midnight onwards the Sunset Terrace transforms yet again as Mr Doris continues his After Dark residency, joined this week by the fantastic DJ Cheeba. 

On the Premier Etage Drop The Mustard continue the WHP takeover. Residents at the Manchester institution the Drop The Mustard DJs host the roof top arena all night from midnight until close. Over in El Salon Ibiza Spotlight round out their Space residency in style inviting Kenneth Bagger to present Music For dreams in the most intimate of Space's 5 rooms.

We Love Sundays At Space 2014 - Coming up in August

As the halfway point of the We Love Sundays At Space Summer season approaches, the list of highlights gets longer and longer. The Opening Party already seems like a lifetime ago and the last eight weeks blur into a hazy memory of sunny afternoons, sweaty nights and fantastic music. Taking a look ahead at the month to come August looks set to provide as many talking points as the previous eight parties, starting things off on August 3rd with a very special event in collaboration with BBC Radio 1 and the fantastic Essential Mix as part of the Radio 1 Ibiza Weekender. 

AUGUST 3rd

For this special event We Love resident Skream hosts the Discoteca as part of his monthly Skreamizm takeovers and his set will be recorded live for broadcast on the Essential mix. Joining him in the main room for the first time in 7 years of playing We Love (all previous appearances have been on the Terrace) Âme plays a much anticipated Techno set. Dense and Pika return for the second year running representing the cutting edge of Techno and fresh from his highly acclaimed Essential mix Jasper James makes his We Love and Space debut. Also appearing Joris Voorn plays his only Terrace set of the Summer after a fantastic main room appearance back in June and we are very happy to welcome DJ W!LD to the We Love fold for a one off performance. Technasia completes the bill on the Terrace and plays an extended closing set. We Love the Essential Mix!

AUGUST 10th

Put simply August 10th looks set to be THE event of the Summer. On the second Sunday in August We Love present Loco Dice’s birthday party aptly titled “AUGUST X“. For this exclusive We Love Sundays At Space event Dice has invited his friends and contemporaries, covering Space’s 5 rooms from start to finish. The 15 hour event will see 2 appearances from the man himself, an afternoon Sunset Terrace set and a main Terrace closing set. Joining Dice on the night are Chris Liebing, Chuck Flask, Cirillo, Crack-T, Guti, Josh Wink, Martin Buttrich, Nightmares On Wax (DJ Set), Pulshar, Robert Dietz, Sin Plomo, tINI, Tobi Neuman, Vladimir Ivkovic and some VERY special guests. We Love Loco Dice!

AUGUST 17th

Three weeks into August and there is not letting up as Disclosure present their third exclusive Wild Life event at We Love Sundays At Space. Everyone who has attended either of the two previous Wild Life shows will testify to just how mind blowing these have been and the lineup for August 17th looks set to trump even the previous two. Disclosure are at the very apex of the current dance music crossover phenomenon and the bill around them reflects a mix of the new cool (Skream, Bicep, Dusky), the old school (Carl Craig) and the effortlessly cool (Henrik Schwarz). A varied mix of guests for sure but all with a common theme, fantastic music and each amazing artists in their own rights. We Love Wild Life!

AUGUST 24th

August 24th sees the return of the original We Love Space resident Danny Tenaglia. The role Danny Tenaglia played in shaping the history of We Love, Space and Ibiza in general cannot be overstated. His residency defined an era in dance music history and paved the way for modern DJing. Danny plays an extended Terrace set and will be joined by another Terrace statesman and We Love resident Paul Woolford. Completing the bill in this room the ascendant Hot Since 82 makes his only We Love Sundays appearance of the Summer. Over in the Discoteca another original We Love Sundays At Space resident Sasha continues his Last Night On Earth takeovers inviting special guests Julio Bashmore and Catz ‘N Dogz to join him. We Love Sasha, We Love Danny Tenaglia! 

AUGUST 31st

August 31st completes a 5 Sunday month and We Love close August out in Style. Superstylers Groove Armada are back on the Terrace for their only Space appearance of the Summer. Their shows over the last few years in this room have become the stuff of legend and being their only one of the Summer this set is sure to blow the roof clean off. We Love favourite Kölsch makes a welcome return and Fuse residents Enzo Siragusa and Rossko play back to back for their debut Terrace gig. Over in the Discoteca James Zabiela hosts Born Electric once again and invites Daniel Avery who plays back to back with Ivan Smagghe and Ben UFO who plays back to back with Midland. A trio of B2Bs, the return of Kölsch, maestro James Zabiela and Groove Armada’s only Terrace performance of the year, We Love Sundays At Space!

As well as all this action every week the We Love Sundays At Space experiences covers Space's 5 rooms starting on the Sunset Terrace from 16:30 with the Stripped concept. Stripped continues it's theme of unannounced guests for the rest of the summer so no info on the coming lineups but artists who have already appeared this Summer include Shaun Reeves, Bill Patrick, Hector, Bushwacka, Jordan Peak, Marco Yanes, Rossko, Ryan Crosson and loads more.

We Love... Space Ibiza presents Stripped

For many years the heart of Sundays in Ibiza was daytime clubbing on the Space Terrace. For one reason or another, political restrictions from the island government and a gradual shift in habits, Space evolved from a daytime venue to the nightclub it is today. This summer we present Stripped on the Sunset Terrace as a nod to the past and a celebration of what we believe is still one of the best rooms in the world for an outdoor, daytime party. 

The party will start as early as we can possibly open at 16:30 and run through until midnight when Mr Doris and his After Dark crew will take control of the room. As the trend for higher and higher levels of production and flamboyant light shows sweeps Ibiza, this daytime concept aims to ‘strip‘ clubbing back to it’s essential elements. The music and the crowd will be paramount and the focus will be on celebrating the spirit and ethos that made the Space Terrace famous in the first place. The soundsystem has been upgraded to Function One and the lineups have been carefully programmed bringing in a mix of the finest island residents and international guests each week but will remain completely unannounced all season. An anonymous lineup brings the right people together for the right reasons: great music, in a great venue with a great crowd. Stripped will be a party for everyone to enjoy in the same way, it will be our antidote to VIP culture and musical snobbery, it will be for everyone who shares our ideals and not for those who prefer to sit behind a velvet rope and will be the cheapest ticket available for We Love Sundays At Space.

We Love... Space Ibiza - Sasha presents Last Night On Earth

Sixteen years ago We Love opened up Space's doors with a key group of residents providing the soundtrack. One of those residents was Sasha. Today Sasha plays around the world at some of dance music's most important venues, heads up a record label championing forward thinking house music and last year released the critically acclaimed album Invol<3r. 

With one epoch defining Space residency under his belt already and a one off Terrace performance last year which went down as a season highlight and marked his return to the We Love family, this year Sasha will present 4 very special Last Night On Earth events at We Love Sundays At Space.

“Space has always been the natural home for me in Ibiza and it's the club I have had most association with over the years. I can't wait to get back there on a regular basis this summer for my Last Night On Earth parties.
