Iggy Azalea Announces New Album Reclassified

Monday 24th November sees the release of Iggy Azalea's new album 'Reclassified', including 7 tracks from her debut album 'The New Classic' alongside 5 brand new tracks.

The international rap siren has made her mark across the globe following the release of her debut album, 'The New Classic' earlier this year, since exploding onto the airwaves with her contagious hit singles including 'Fancy ft. Charli XCX' and dancefloor smash 'Work'.

Shaking up her debut album, "The New Classic", Iggy is set to release "Reclassified" an impressive deluxe version of her debut including five new stellar tracks featuring three impressive vocal collaborations with US superstar, Jennifer Hudson, the global pop-sensation, Ellie Goulding and new Danish buzz artist of the moment, MØ - all of which have been produced by The Invisible Men.

Iggy is set to release 'Beg For It ft. MØ' as the first single from the 'Reclassified' album on 24th November. The single is brimming with Iggy's signature double-time flow, rauchhaus bassline and an infectious vocal hook from up and coming songstress MØ.

Iggy Azalea leads the pack this year's American Music Awards with six nominations, including nods for "artist of the year", "new artist of the year" and "single of the year", ahead of artists such as Beyoncé, Katy Perry and Pharrell.

Iggy's last single "Black Widow feat. Rita Ora" dominated the airwaves for weeks following the pair's flawless performances at the MTV VMA's and hit the US TV show, Ellen Degeneres. The track has sold in excess of 2 million copies worldwide, going top 5 in both the US and the UK (for 2 consecutive weeks) and is currently sitting at number 1 on Pop Radio in the US.

With over half a billion YouTube views and half a million albums sold worldwide, Iggy inexorable march to global domination continues. Iggy's ultimate summer smash hit single "Fancy feat. Charli XCX" has sold over 7 million copies worldwide, and has become the most streamed track ever on US Spotify. Iggy now boasts the longest ever run at Billboard #1 by a female rapper (eclipsing Lil' Kim's 5 week run in 2001 with "Lady Marmalade").

Iggy Azalea to release highly anticipated debut album, The New Classic

Monday 21st April brings the release of Iggy Azalea’s highly anticipated debut album, ‘The New Classic’.

The Australian rap siren has made her mark across the globe since exploding onto the airwaves last year with her killer underground smash, ‘Work’. Almost 12 months on, Ms Azalea has proven she’s an unstoppable force, from London to Atlanta, Paris to Sydney, Milan to LA, cementing herself as a sure-fire pop sensation with a grand master plan, world domination.

Iggy’s truly inspirational story started in Miami at the age of 16 where she grafted hard, day and night to establish herself in the US rap scene.  Iggy exploded onto the underground scene in 2011 with her debut mixtape ‘Ignorant Art’ which featured controversial track and viral video for ‘Pu$$y’, which went global. Iggy then went on to release another mixtape, ‘Trapgold’ which lead to her signing a deal with Virgin EMI Records where she began work on her awaited debut album. Since then Iggy has delivered two top 20 singles, with her previous single ‘Change Your Life’ ft T.I. hitting the UK top 10.

2013 brought Iggy to the forefront as she became one of Vevo’s most successful break-through acts as well as hitting the road to support rap legend Nas and later Beyoncé on their international tour dates.   Iggy’s success as a global star is evident with over 1Million followers on Instagram and YouTube views totalling 50Million – incredible statistics for a pre-album artist.

‘The New Classic’ is an impeccably produced record, driven by beats of epic proportions and laced with Iggy’s unmistakable lyrical prowess, her signature double-time flow showcasing a class, intellect and maturity beyond her tender years.  Keeping it in the family, the album features guest vocals from close friends including the likes of Rita Ora, T.I. and dancehall legend, Mavado.  Iggy Azalea also worked with legendary producers Stargate and Timbaland as well as co-writing ‘Black Widow’ with global superstar, Katy Perry.

Last year Iggy ignited dance floors and festival fields across the UK with performances at Glastonbury, Wireless, Radio 1’s Big Weekend, The Great Escape and London’s O2 Arena to name a few; this summer will see Iggy return to the festival circuit as she joins the likes of Kanye West, Pharrell Williams and Basement Jaxx at London’s Wireless Festival, with further festival appearances to be announced.

Following her biggest performance to date on US prime time TV, ’The Late Show, with David Letterman, Iggy was invited to perform at this year’s Grammy Awards Friends ‘N’ Family party, where she was joined on stage with fellow rapper, T.I. to perform their UK hit single, ‘Change Your Life’ together.

Pre-order ‘The New Classic’ on iTunes now to receive ‘Impossible Is Nothing’ immediately.

Sunday 6th April brings the release of Iggy Azalea’s new single, ‘Fancy’ feat. Charli XCX. The Australian rap siren exploded onto the airwaves last year with her killer underground smash, ‘Work’.  Almost 12 months on, Ms Azalea has made her mark across the globe, from London to Atlanta, Paris to Sydney, Milan to LA, cementing herself as a sure-fire pop sensation with a grand master plan, world domination.

‘Fancy’ feat. Charli XCX brings a new sound to Iggy’s repertoire, with stripped back production driven by an infectious retro-induced synth leaving the floor open for Iggy’s impeccable double time flow and Charlie XCX’s contagious chorus. Having previously produced ‘Work’ for Iggy, The Invisible Men (Katy B, DJ Fresh, Ellie Goulding) once again work their magic on the track while infamous Anthony Kilhoffer (2 Chainz, Kanye West, Beyonce) was enlisted to provide the final mix.

Powering back onto the scene following her first UK Top 10 hit with ‘Change Your Life feat. T.I’ accompanied by Australian support dates on the ‘Mrs Carter World Tour’ with Beyoncé and European tour support with hip-hop royalty, Nas earlier in 2013, Iggy is armed and ready to take her electrifying live show on the road again with new material from her forthcoming debut album, ‘The New Classic’, due to release later this year.
