As we all know, Manchester has always been a mecca for music and fashion. The likes of Gio Goi have sprung up from the city, while the area's reputation for producing countless great bands and producers extends internationally.
Taking place between May 28th - 30th, Hungry Pigeon brings together the twin worlds of music and fashion. HL Jeans Co. are set to play a prominent role, with tons of up and coming talent set to be unveiled.
Taking place at venues across the city, the likes of The Jessie Rose Trip, Misty's Big Adventure, Beggar Joe, Manchester Samba and more have been confirmed.
Elsewhere, hotly tipped local newcomers The Travelling Band are due to perform. After their set at Glastonbury last year the group were personally invited back by festival supremo Michael Eavis.
High praise indeed! With a host of labels seeking their signature, you can find out what has been causing the hype at a very special performance by The Travelling Band at this year's Hungry Pigeon.
Meanwhile, a series of events sees HL Jeans Co. take control of a tent in Piccadilly Gardens. Guest DJs will perform, with the brand offering some exclusive competitions, giveaways and much more.
In addition to this, HL Jeans Co. are teaming up with the festival to launch a limited edition range of Hungry Pigeon t-shirts. HL Jeans Co. spokesperson, Jan Duckworth, said "It’s great to be involved in this city’s biggest outdoor festival, with great bands and venues in and around The Northern Quarter. This association breathes life into our Jeans Collection and we’re delighted we can do this whilst supporting our home city!"
