Head Promoter Mat Ong stated,

“Liverpool is our home town, where we first began our music adventures, and I love this city with all its musical quirks. There are loads of great bands pushing themselves out there, who work hard and deserve some help, so we thought, why not give a little back to them. Hopefully this CD will get their music heard by a few more people, and help build their fledgling fan bases.”

Dearest enemy started of as a small band who practised as a hobby in S.P.A.C.E youth centre in Bootle. The band started of with Chloe Robinson doing vocals, Beth Simm on bass, Leo Ormesher on drums and Jordan Speed on guitar. Jordan wasn't practising enough so she was removed and Beth played guitar and Matthew Pickford joined playing bass. Then it was decided a second guitarist was needed and Michael Long then joined the band. Dearest enemy are currently gigging around the Liverpool area.
