MusicMafia introduces Jakob Deist
After an overwhelming response to the debut release 'Time To Move On', Jakob Deist is set to release his eagerly anticipated follow up single 'Here Now' from the The Owl and The Crow EP (release date 10/05/12)
The new release displays the unique style which JD has created, along with some catchy hooks in this song, its bound to be another step forward for Jakob Deist. The new EP was recorded at CDS Studios with Mike Curtis (INME, Dave Mcpherson, Fei Comodo).
When The Owl and The Crow EP recordings finished Jakob Deist formed the band to
accomodate the new sound. Based in Essex the trio have already played some of the best venuesin the surrounding area. With influences from John Mayer, Damien Rice and City & Colour this EP is bound to offer something that isnt out there yet.
'Here Now' is going to be on MK (Established South African Music Channel) and also be on
major radio stations, with potentially a tour to support the Single and EP in the later parts of 2012.
