XFM New Music Award nominees My Preserver have announced the first single from their forthcoming album ‘Revolutions In The Head’ will be the track ‘King Jesus’, released on May 28th 2012. The band will also play an exclusive single launch party at The Garage, London on May 30th 2012.

Currently playlisted at Kerrang! Radio and winning support from the XFM Rock Show, My Preserver’s high energy, hook-laden single ‘King Jesus’ is a sign of things to come from the London based 4-piece. A series of exciting releases from the band are due this year, including the official release of My Preserver’s debut album ‘Revolutions In The Head’, produced by Premen Underhill (Klaxons, Bloc Party).

The album was leaked late last year and immediately put My Preserver on the shortlist for the XFM New Music Award. Meanwhile the album track and forthcoming single “You Know Something That I Don’t Know” was also used as the introduction music for WBO Boxing World Champion Nathan Cleverly’s fight at the O2 Arena.

No strangers to the live circuit either, My Preserver’s explosive performances have already led to sold out headline shows at London’s Borderline and 100 Club, Birmingham’s O2 Academy, plus shows at IndigO2, Clapham Grand, XOYO and even London’s Astoria 2 before the venue’s doors closed for the final time.

King Jesus will be available from www.mypreserver.com and all good digital stores on May 28th 2012, My Preserver’s debut album “Revolutions In The Head” will be released this Autumn.

My Preserver perform at The Great Escape Festival at Volks in Brighton on May 10th, on stage at 8:30pm.

Tickets for the single launch show at The Garage, London on May 30th are available now from www.ticketweb.co.uk
