Anarchy Brew Co present Mash Up Festival Morpeth, Northumberland

This year Anarchy Brew Co. are rounding up some of the finest craft beers that the UK has to offer and a selection of the best acts in the UK and combining it to create the very first Mash Up Festival.

Anarchy Brew Co. is a craft brewery based in Morpeth, Northumberland. Having set up just over a year ago, the brewery set out to create exciting beers, big in flavour with the aim of converting a younger audience over to craft beers.

Our small team is very proactive, enthusiastic and committed to producing the best possible beer, and it shows, as we are constantly brewing to demand. Anarchy Brew Co. is Simon (Brewer), Dawn (Sales and Admin), Andy (Brewer), Ron (Drayman) Ross (Sales and Events Organiser) and Joe (Assistant Brewer).

We are fortunate enough to be based at The Whitehouse Farm Centre, in Stannington, Morpeth. The farm has been fantastic with us, and has given us a space for 2 outdoor stages, a beer tent and another area for overnight camping.

We have secured some of the finest talent the UK has to offer, whilst also heavily focusing on our local talent. This will come in the form of the awesome Manchester genre splicing ‘SONIC BOOM SIX’, Download festival electronic djent favourites ‘THE ALGORITHM’, ‘WE ARE KNUCKLE DRAGGER’ who are fresh back from LA recording with Ross Robinson, and local rock step pioneers ‘ROSSI NOISE’ who also featured on the main stage of this year’s Evolution Festival. In total we have 18 bands and 3 DJs lined up and the event will run from 12 noon.

The beer served will only be finest craft beer. We will have a beer tent serving keg beer from ourselves (Anarchy Brew Co.) and another 9 specially selected UK craft breweries, whose beers we don’t often see here in the North East.

Breweries on board include Scotland based Alechemy and Cromarty, Signature Brew (who currently brew Enter Shikari, Frank Turner and Pro Greens beers!), Lovibonds, Red Willow, Tiny Rebel, Moor Beer, Harbour and Beavertown (set up by Byron Plant, son of a certain Robert).

With tickets priced at a very modest £15* we are hoping to attract beer and music lovers from across the region, to celebrate the burgeoning craft beer and music scene.

*Camping extra £2.50.
