The Janoskians Cook Up Worldwide Got Cake Tour

Melbourne-born masters of “social disturbance” and pop punk mischief makers, THE JANOSKIANS are cooking up something very special for their fans around the globe.

Following the success of their first sold-out “#NotaBoyBand” tour last year, the boys will embark on another worldwide run with the “Got Cake Tour”.  The upcoming tour will make its way to major markets across North America, the United Kingdom, and Europe (see dates below.) A limited fan presale will begin on May 7th at 10 am local time directly on THE JANOSKIANS website. Fans will have additional opportunities to purchase tickets early by signing up for a Facebook RSVP at http://bit.ly/JanoskiansRSVP, with those tickets going on-sale May 8th.  Tickets will go on sale to the public May 9, 2014.  Tour dates in their native Australia will be announced at a later date. For full ticket info visit: www.The-Janoskians.com.

Citi is the official credit card of the “Got Cake Tour.”  Citi cardmembers will also have access to presale tickets beginning May 7th at 10am ET through Citi’s Private Pass Program.  For complete presale details visit www.citiprivatepass.com.  Additionally, fans interested in VIP Meet and Greet Packages may also visit VIPNation.com.

Just in time for the tour announcement, THE JANOSKIANS will also reveal their brand new song “Real Girls Eat Cake”- which it should be noted is “#NotaSingle,” on May 12 through iTunes and all digital retailers. The pre-order is now live at: http://smarturl.it/JanoskiansRGECiT, where the song is available at a special price through May 12.

Produced and written by hitmakers Orange Factory Music (OFM) and Jay Sean- who to date have sold a combined 15 million singles worldwide, “Real Girls Eat Cake” marks the band’s first release for REPUBLIC RECORDS.  The song marries surf-style guitar and a ska bounce before colliding into an anthemic 90’s influenced, ska-core refrain. However, it only begins to feed the massive fan demand for more music from the quintet.

For the unfamiliar, in 2011, JANOSKIANS mayhem started brewing when the group uploaded their first “Awkward Train Situations” video to YouTube. As the fan base grew, they continually released hilarious and disruptive content, gaining over 1.35 million YouTube subscribers and counting as well as accruing more than 100 million combined views.

Their inaugural “#NotaBoyBand” tour boasted a “Variety Show”-style set that engaged audiences in a revolutionary fashion through manipulating social media. A meet and greet in London’s Hyde Park drew a mob of approximately ten thousand fans, forcing the boys to evacuate. They later shut down the world renowned Beverly Center in L.A. as thousands of girls flooded the mall.  Meanwhile, an appearance in Times Square in February 2014 drew 20,000 fans and REPUBLIC RECORDS, who signed them shortly after.
