Glass Caves to play Liverpool Zanzibar on UK tour

Glass Caves have built a following across the North of England busking their songs from city to city. The band’s solid work ethic has seen them touring relentlessly in the North taking their audiences from the streets to city venues and online where the band were picked out by Billboard and Next Big Sound’s “fastest accelerating” chart.

A BBC Introducing Radio 1 playlist saw recognition grow in the capital and led to an Artrocker new bands festival appearance and shows with independent music venue week. Following a number of festival appearances in 2013 including Leeds/Reading the band have been scheduled at Ynot Festival (for BBC Introducing), Shrewsbury Fields Forever (with The Cribs), Live at Leeds and Tramlines (Sheffield) this summer.

The album, Alive, arrives 10th November and follows a debut EP and direct-to-fan streams that resulted in praise across national publications including Clashmusic, Line of Best fit, Contact Music and international blogs including The Music Ninja, The Burning Ear, The 405, There goes the fear and It’s all Indie.

The tracks were produced by Richard Turvey (Darlia/Mispers/Sundowners) at Parr Street Studios, Liverpool.

Glass Caves draw from a range of classic influences and channel them through a songwriting process honed from hours of attention-grabbing on UK streets resulting in perfectly formed morsels of ballsy alt-rock delivered with contemporary production.
